Hello! This is a map of single user bathrooms across UChicago.
It is intended to be a useful resource for trans and gender-nonconforming
students who just want to find a safe place to pee. Contrary to the past,
it does seem every bathroom on this list exists, although some
may be annoying to access (e.g. the bathroom in Reynolds is not open
to most students.)
Nonetheless, this map may miss some bathrooms that do exist. This is because
the data source for this map is the Center
for Identity + Inclusion's single user bathroom list,
findable at this link, which is a bit old at this point.
This would be solveable, but I currently lack the time to census the
bathrooms myself, and am not aware of any ongoing plans from other
groups to do so.
I am no longer actually at UChicago, so I can't really make additional updates
to this map! Regardless, If you do find any additional bathrooms in your day to
